I was using different strength of prescription bifocal contacts. Strodng enough to see the sights blurs the target.

I use a medium bifocal in my left eye, a strong bifocal in my right eye. Now nothing is "crisp" but I can see distance and close up well.

Yep just powder and bullet. The powder dispenser worked like a charm.
