Tuck my dress shirt in between the clips and the kydex/leather. The only thing you see is the clips on the belt. They are barely noticeable on a black belt.

It wasn't bad at all. I'm right between a medium and large shirt right now and the shirt I had on was a medium. I could see a little bit of the grip, but I don't think someone else would notice it.
