He's seriously strange. He tells us stories that make us all shake our heads and say, seriously, WTF just happened? Remember some Boy Scouts getting trapped in Mammoth Cave a few years ago?

Do you really? Do a quick search, I'd LOVE to see a link cause I can't find one. His "claim" to fame is he and his search and rescue dog saved those kids...them and 50 other people over the years....

It's not bad as far as jobs I've done. I've done worse lol...it's like any other job, has it's bad days and it's good days. I try to stack the deck with good days though

EVERYtime he makes this claim, people nod and say oh thank you, and how wonderful he is. DO the search...do a search to find an article. THAT would be newsworthy, right?? There should be a page that has SOMETHING about that, right?

good luck finding it. The ONLY mention of any rescue from Mammoth Cave was some guy back in the 1920s...not boy scouts. He's always very specific that it was 14 Boy Scouts in Mammoth Cave. I ought to figure out a sneaky way of getting a date or something

I'd say it sounds like you've done plenty of research and have a pretty good plan so far. You can prob figure this out without my help.
