Relic, do you know of a place I can rent a decent metal detector? What's the learning curve on them?

not many shops rent them out anymore...there are only a few places in Indiana that deal with detectors. as far as the learning curve....it could take several weeks to get use to one. just depends on how good you are with understanding things like metal compositions,sound waves and computers.

Neither answer is helpful. Lol. My daughter lost a gold ring out in the back yard. It was the last thing she got from her grandmother before she died. So, I've got to find a way to try and find it.
