I knew Gordy had left... H&K told me I think when he was talking about it one day

Having spent 4 days or so up there when the baby was born I saw a lot of changes yet not so many really. It's the same place I grew up

I think it is Bristol that sets their tornado alarm off at noon every day.
Argos & Plymouth used to do it, don't know about now.. But it is also the warning for fire, etc. In Argos it blows then the firemen come in and drive the firetrucks around to warn the citizens.. well used to anyway

16 also happily reported when Mecklenburg had some kind of melt down and the black woman on 22 got her DUI. But whatever happened with Gordy, not a word.

Culver does that. We do have a few sirens out in the country and the warning system has gotten better.

Indianapolis had the problem that they would sound it for a warning but it was for say the NW corner... it went off city wide. I think they have it down a lot better now and I do take it more serious then I did before. They'd set if off for a thunderstorm warning too.. needless to say, not many took it serious.

I'm the kind of person that runs outside to look when the siren goes off.

Didn't seem like it to me. Suddenly out of the blue they announce he is leaving. Seems like it was just a weeks notice. And he wasn't going somewhere else .

the only time I have ran when needed was when some kids were firing shots in the alley behind us. I ran with the kids to the basement as I was dialing 911.
All because the kids sister was called a name in school.
No one got hurt but at least 5 or 6 rounds were fired.

Only time this happened in our neighborhood and those kids don't live here anymore.
