    It has been 30 years. You may have noticed there isn't much chance to practice your French in Indiana.

    There are, just not on INGO. :)
    I met a guy at the library in downtown Indy who was fluent in French (we found out if was our native language after talking in English for 5 minutes :):) , we talked a bit, he was an American born in Africa (forgot which country) and French was his mother tongue.
    There is a small community of people from Africa who speak French around Indy.
    Also there is an Alliance Française in Indy, it's a place where they teach people French language and culture.
    They do meetings and such where they speak French.
    I also met some kids who are learning French in school.

    And of course there is my girlfriend, she loves to practice the French tongue ... but not so much the French language. ;) lol

    My aunts family are from Zaire/Congo and they all speak French and Swahili. I believe it was a Belgian colony.
