You should petition management to build an indoor range at work. Argue that I would improve employee moral and keep the guests in line. Win-win situation if I ever saw it.

However, I think the GM is kinda anti-gun, just out of lack of knowledge. He seems over-all okay with it, but then he makes statements like, "This is why guns shouldn't be allowed on campuses." Referring to the recent shooting at a college out in California.
