Where do you think the best place to find a used Dillon press would be? I may be up for buying one this year...

If only there was a website that had a classifieds section that 20k Hoosiers participated in. . . . hmm......

Never good deals on reloading supplies though :noway:

And dillon's always seem to sell for almost what you can buy a new one for

And a price difference of over $100?

So you're gonna carry 2 lights now? :stickpoke:

    Chuck doesn't have a PT1L.

    But to compare. . . .

    PT1L runs on 1 CR123 battery-- L2 runs on 2.

    PT1L pumps 110 lumens-- L2 pumps 100.

PT1L is about half the size of the L2.

PT1L has a strobe mode-- L2 does not.

PT1L has a clicky tailcap-- L2 has the "tactically correct" pushbutton tailcap.

PT1L is made by Streamlight. L2 is made by Surefire.

    Those are the basics.

Its just older technology. That light was introduced around 2006 IIRC. It was crazy bright for the time.

Sorry, I meant other than the obvious :)

Just went through a package thing on their website.. 45acp + 45-70 and all the extras.. wow.. this gets expensive quick!!!

Case trimmers, and dies, and tumbers, primer tubes, scales, and etc adds up fast. $1,469.94 :spend:

Thats before powder, primer, brass, and bullets!

Yup, initial investment is a bit silly. But if you find the right deal its worth it and you'll save in the long run.

I wouldn't buy a case trimmer until you really need it. Scales can be somewhat affordable. Especially the balance beam which is all you'll need if you're using the dillon powder dispenser.

Tumbers can be cheap if you get the frankfort arsenal when its on sale at MidwayUSA

Word is, lovemywoods is working on a very detailed review on reloading and the costs involved. Should be pretty cool. :yesway:

Any estimation on when this review will be posted?

Also, you said you saw Tyler34 back a week or so ago. How is he?
