    Crap! My buffer tube's stripped threading made it so I couldn't install it on the lower. So now my castle nut is stuck on it and my buffer tube is useless!

    You could use a hacksaw on the tube since its worthless anyway. Then grind down the edges so the castle nut comes off.

    Or you could just buy another Castle nut for a few dollars

    Could the threads on the buffer tube be cleaned up?
