    I wanna turkey hunt, there are a bunch on the land I deer hunt. I wouldn't know how to do it though.

    It's fun and challenging, very different than deer hunting. I'm not good at calling so I use stealth and good scouting combined with a cannon of a shotgun for extra range.

    Do you have to field dress them? I wouldn't know where to start with that either.

    The breast meat is really the only good meat on a wild turkey and there's not a lot of it compared to pen raised animals. Think dark meat on a store bought animal. You cut down the center and separate the halves. They make a great wall mount..

    I highly doubt the Mrs would let that fly in our house. She doesn't really like the deer shoulder mount I have...

    Thanks! Taxidermist did a very good job and I gave them a plug on the board. The shot was very close so I had to aim slightly to the side. These guys did a good job repairing the damage.

    The gardener doesn't mind, she gets to pick where they will placed around the house. This one is next to another on the stairs.
