    I did hamburger patties on the grill. We had leftover pasta salad, cole slaw, cowboy beans and watermelon to go with the burgers.

    Hubby said it rained for about 30 minutes. Rain gauge had exactly an inch in it!! I was happy! My garden and flowers needed a drink. My grass is brown and crunchy.

    We didn't even get a drop. I could smell the rain, or was that my own stench?

    The problem I have with making tacos is I have to them all in one sitting. Same with buffalo wings


    You can reheat the meat and just add the toppings later for repeats. I just put all of the fixings in separate containers in the fridge if we have leftovers. We don't do tacos very often though.

    I forget and the veggies go bad.
    I was surprised we got it since it usually goes around us. It looks like we could get more.

    We thought we were getting some rain then it went to the north side of the lake.

    I need to order one of those thermocell things for moquitoes. I'm thinking the rain with this heat is sure to bring them out.
