I've been looking at pricing around the internet for the truck I bought. Similar trucks are more the doubled what I am paying and half of them aren't even 4x4. Who in there right mind would 5+ grand for '96 chevy?

I am getting mine for 2. These were the basic truck, no fancy upgrades or paint jobs. One of them had a twisted bed and the guy wanted 5500. Runs but needs a lot of work, transmission loses 3rd gear...

I am beginning to see that.Everybody thinks their old truck is gold. New ones are expensive, but that doesn't make an old beater with a heater worth what they are asking. I am amazed at the stupid prices I see on old trucks.
