I have a job, I also have bills. I just got an email reminding me my property taxes are due on the 10th. That's $400+ I didn't plan on spending this week...

Yeah, it was a good idea at the time to not lump it in escrow to lower my monthly payment and save money in the long run. Forgot about having to pay the lump sum twice a year...
