This will be my fourth deer hunting trip of my life. I passed on a bad shot with my bow a few years ago, but that was as close to a shot as I've ever had.

No such thing as too much gun. I hit a whitetail doe on the front shoulder with a 45LC using a jacked up 325 grain cast bullet, went through her lengthwise.

This gun is the only legal to hunt with, one I have. It's more of a sniper rifle than a hunting one. Weighs around 12 pounds, with a 24" bull barrel.
I think I need a lever gun. I see a need.
