The Official Status Update Thread: Part 167 - Fall Has Fallen

Sometime in April. We have all ganged up on spring birthdays. Grandpa, Daddy and oldest brother are April. Younger brother and Uncle are in March and Mommy is in May.

I just thought about how much that little girl is going to have grandpa wrapped around her finger, you know you're screwed, right?

Good morning everyone! I need to go outside and get my stuff done so I can get moving. I listed a bunch of stuff on FB yesterday to sell and have been answering messages. May have one guy that wants to buy the bulk of what I listed. He's probably going to resell it at a swap meet or something but as long as I get what I want and it is out of my way, I'm fine with that.

Hubby is gone fishing. He was gone before I got up.

Sun is shining and it was up to 46 when I wandered through the living room so we may hit the 60's like they are saying.

I was up on top of the framework putting braces on the deck and looked over at the garden........There is a full days work over there to put it to bed.

I was up on top of the framework putting braces on the deck and looked over at the garden........There is a full days work over there to put it to bed.

I'm hoping to get mine cleaned out this afternoon or maybe tomorrow. I think they are saying rain this week so probably should do it today. If I get rid of this stuff that is in the barn, I'll have room for my yard ornaments/tomato cages, etc.

Ours has a few maters still clinging to the vine but everything is out of the ground.
I need to wait for the leaves to hit the ground and put all of them on the garden. Cover with black plastic and let them cook till spring. Turn it all over and add some peat. Life renewed.

I still need to pull out the plants and drag them out to the back for the deer to pick through. There are some squash and pumpkins attached that were too small or whatever so they can have those. I have a full crate of pumpkins sitting here that I picked but don't know what to do with. I already have them setting all around for decorations so I guess I will cut these in half and let the deer eat the seeds. I used to feed them to the goats, and they claim the seeds are a natural dewormer so it should be good for the deer too.

I am off to see the neighbor! BBL!
