    Hubby took it apart, I think, says he didn't see a belt.

    Most washers don't have a belt. Not spinning could be caused by a lot of things. Most washers won't spin if the water is not pumped out down to a certain level meaning there could be a problem with the pump or a clog in the drain system. Some washers have a built in trap. It could be as simple as a clog in that system.

    water drained fine. Or so it seemed. there wasn't any in the washer when I pulled the clothes out

    The joists are done. Just a few stringers left to put up. Hand rails are done.
    Need to go around and put Lag bolts in key stress areas.
    I am extending the south roof a couple of feet to keep the spouse under roof when she goes out the door.
