Everything is fine here. Just getting ready for whats around the corner. And playing frisbee with the Terrior. He knows whats coming also, get as much in as we can.

Yeah, it'll be here before you know it, and well before we would like it to. Dogs also have an extra sense/ perception. People who have pets know, sometimes the dogs just know/ feel stuff.

There are 3 gunsmiths within 9 miles of me. 2 within 4 miles.

How many of them are worthwhile? I have heard a lot of horror stories about some of the guys that work down this way; there's a few I have heard good things about. I am looking for someone to send the barrel to when I need to get the muzzle device pinned/welded, but not sure where I should take it.

Yes Sir, correct on all accounts. My bones and joints factor in there somewhere. :fogey:

The guy 4 mi from here is good, the guy 9 mi from here is excellent. The other guy, I have no clue. He just opened shop this past spring.

Many of the older guys I work with mention that. They can tell when we are going to get rain and when the weather gets cold, they ache a lot. I am sure I am going to experience that someday, luckily I haven't yet (even as I got another year older).
My biggest problem is I have been frostbitten in my hands. Always keep the digits covered when it's cold.
