I just made a third pot. I'm not really tired, but the gloomy weather is making me feel like I should be napping. I'm sitting here crocheting.

Gray and wet here...It is depressing. Smells like fall. I'm not ready for what follows.

It makes me want to bake, but my waistline says no. There is already bread and pumpkin bread sitting here.

I would make soup, but we already have leftover chili and chicken soup in the fridge.

So...I crochet. At least it keeps my hands busy. I think my daughter is coming over for a visit after she gets done at work.

It seems to be a decent day. I am going to have to get busy. I still need to see what is up with the hot water heater. It had been empty (and turned off for a couple of years), then after turning the water on and leaving it overnight, I got a bunch of air and some lukewarm water this morning. Now I get to see if it heats up properly this time.

In general, now that I have my feet back under me, I am finding that the demands on me expand much faster than my recovery!
