MrsG, can you do credit cards when your computer is crashed?? My buddy Raj has been having issues with his sat link. When the link is down, no credit cards work outside...
until I start unplugging things to trouble shoot, yes. We do have an answer for ours though now. The router that helps connect the registers to the sapphire system is bad, or going bad I should say. It needs replaced.
Okay, we can trade for it.......2 Chihuahuas coming your way...:): Oh, and I'll throw in a grocery bag of miss matched socks....

    That's a ****ty ****ing trade :):

Separate checking accounts man, nothing comes out of the budget.

We have both separate checking and joint savings, but at this point in our lives and income/finances, it's all both of our "budget". These kind of purchases on either side without consultation would in poor taste.

    Yup. Same here.

I did sneak the 64 S/S in under the radar but I have a soul so I came clean.
This resulted in several shopping trips and another Florida trip for the spouse.
I am sure this is not over.....:):

we have OUR checking account and MY checking account. He has no idea how much is in either account

    Might be for the better....:)

Years ago I had absolutely no idea how much we had and where it was.
When The spouse lost her "Good" job I had to take the wheel and start steering the bus.
Her and the kids had a seriously hard time adjusting to the new life style that comes with living at the edge of your means and the means falling seriously short with the job loss.
It took a few years to get things in check.

This works for us too! We were together for so long before we actually got married, that it has always been this way. Before getting married, we both paid certain bills each month and that worked well.

We have separate accounts bu I balance them both.................:):

We balance his...nobody tries to balance mine, but I do check it out in my register if my online balance seems much lower than I remember my register showing. Some of those online transfers to paypal don't get recorded right away!
