Morning Mrs. G. Congrats on the news.

thanks BA. So excited. They shared the news in a video chat ,got to see all the ultra sound pics. He is absolutely amazing. He is approximately 9 oz right now, bigger than he should be for the age, but not moving the due date. Still due on my birthday

How it was explained to me:

Human body is a "flex-fuel" vehicle. It prefers to burn carbs for fuel, but if there's a surplus (aka, fatty eats more calories than he burns), the carbs are converted to fat and stored as reserves. If there are no carbs to burn, the body goes to its next favorite fuel... Fat.

my ex-in-laws did a low carb diet, way back in the day. He lost 60# on it. I love my carbs though

Carbs are too delicious to forego. I will just workout more.

that's where I am as well. I've been drinking a lot of green tea. There is no "proven" information that it helps with weight loss, but I am here to tell you I am losing, on average, 2#'s a week when I drink 2 bottles a day. When I don't drink, I don't lose weight.

Hey, that pay thing might be mine to keep. I got an email back and they said the system says prior period adjustment. So, fingers crossed.
