    damn, I get 40 hrs a year sick pay and I accumulate vacation time according to my years of service, hours worked ad position. I'll probably earn about 4 weeks over a year.

    If you are able to retire, you get a reduced flat rate per day. That's why many potential retirees tend to call in sick often...
    That sucks. We get the time paid off at what you were making when you left. If you have a real hardship you can get your vacation time paid out in advance. We take care of our workers here, except for paying them a decent wage to start with :laugh:

    Me too. You get new time on your hire anniversary date. Mine is feb 26. If it were from may to august I would be eating a lot of time.

    new time January 1, that goes for vacation as well. I can carry 40 hrs from year to year. So I am going to have to take some time off
