If it runs yes it is.

It's not locked up and had oil in the lower end when he took that apart today. It's electric start. He bought a new starter solenoid for it and rewired it as the wire was all spliced together and brittle/crumbling. He seems to think it hasn't had a lot of use.

Here is a picture from the front of the boat...better idea of the condition of the boat itself. Other than where the trim is popped loose, the fiberglass itself doesn't appear damaged anywhere. The tires on the trailer hold air and made it the 12 miles home from where he found it.

That will be a fun winter project for him.

I have no idea what we need a third boat for and I can't see him restoring it for a $$$ amount that someone would pay for it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess I'll let him decide what he wants to do. At least it might keep him out of trouble for a while.

With that...I am off to watch some TV with him. I told him if all else fails, we can take it down by DB and push it in the lake. :rockwoot:

    Hi Mrs. G!

Supr - He already has the flat bottom boat he uses when he fishes by himself and the 14' Lund we bought last winter and fixed up that we use most of the time when we both go fishing.

I think we can sell it to my twin!!

I hate to say it, but I've been married to a woman for a long time too...Sounds like you could go into "guilt-mode" just about any time....

    What a great weekend

Today I spent 2 hrs reviewing video, catching shoplifters, writing reports, having the police trespass one of the offenders.
