I'd like to find the GM Engineer that thought that spring clamps were a good idea, those are a PITA to get off. Really bad in the compact space where the hose goes into the radiator... That guy needs a kick in the Nads....

if the water is cold I here it really helps in shrinkage

I ran up to O'Reillys and got an 11" 45 degree offset needle nose pliers...That worked...
