Yeah it doesn't feel that hot actually.
Especially after having been outside when it felt like I was in a freaking oven.
I can understand that reasoning. Just like when I moved to Texas in 1981. My aunt had her AC set on 84. That feels mighty cool when it's 105 or so outside.

The owner of the Jeep said he could get me one ... I need some help with the cash. :):

I think he said he can get one in full working order for like 15K, then you need extras for the paint, decals and whatnot ... not to mention the machine gun.
He's part of a club that restores old WW2 vehicles to their original state.

Maybe Robby could help with the US markings on it. :dunno:

He can get a freaking Sherman too, in working condition also. But that's way too much money and you need a tank carrier with trailer and everything to go with it.
You can't work on it by yourself either, you need a crew just to change the tracks.

We should just have one or 2 more days with those temperatures then it will go down.
So not worth buying an AC for 2 days of use a year.

Same way I don't own a snow shovel.
Last time we had snow, probably 3 years ago, I had to use a small dust shovel thingy to clear the neighbor's stairs.

It worked, we just had 3 or 4 inches of snow.
