    It would be great to just have ceiling fans.

    Yeah, it's pretty nice all year around.
    No snow (or just a bit once every few years) and not that cold either during the winter.
    You can pretty much dress the same all year around.

    I have been to Indiana both during the summer and the winter, I was either too hot or too cold. :):

    We may have to turn on the AC if it gets close to 100. I hate it, but hubby will want it on. I hate a fan even blowing on me.

    The basement is cool enough for me, but our bed is up two flights of stairs...gets hot up there. It always cools off nicely at night though...big windows, ceiling fan and hubby has the pedestal fan blowing at him. I usually end up under the blankets because I end up getting cold.
