For many years I have wanted one of these pistols, but I could never find one that fit my condition levels. When I did find a nice one for sale they were usually the commercial models or a Red 9 model. That was the variation of the broomhandle that was chambered in the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. But, I wanted one that was military accepted into German service, and that it was still chambered in the 7.63 mauser cartridge. Finally I was able to locate one back in early July at the ogca show. This pistol is gorgeous, and all matching. Has a great barrel too. Check out the cutter marks of the rifling at the muzzle. It really is a beautiful pistol with that iconic Mauser quality fire bluing. It just glows. Soon I will be getting it an original stock set to start making it a complete rig.
