    not a bad day.

    Great....

Wife is having a bad day. Within the space of 20 minutes she found out that her favorite Uncle died yesterday and that her oldest brother (who has Leukemia) has had a serious heart attack and prob a week to live. They have him in Hospice care just keeping him comfortable till he passes.

    Howdy lurkers!

I got everything except the garden plants planted. Patio tomatoes are potted and pruned and on the back patio by the grill. Herbs are in a planter back there as well. Flower pots all filled.

This was our dinnertime entertainment. I am for sure missing one tom so I am very glad to see these two strutting their stuff for us.

This was a zoomed out view from my front porch. There were 8 deer out there when I took this but not all were in the shot.

sounds like you had a busy day, mom

Tomorrow is going to be busy. I help the neighbor in the morning, need to pick up all of the election stuff and voting machines, have a meeting and will need to get to bed early. We have to leave at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to go set up and work the polls...until 6:30 or 7:00. I think we usually get home around 8 p.m.

My sister also called today and said she is going to see her son in Maine for family day on May 21st. She wants to take mom with her but that means someone needs to stay with dad. I have commitments with the neighbor on the 20th and 23rd so we have made other arrangements for someone else to stay with him Friday night. I am going down Saturday and staying with him until they get home sometime Sunday night. I figure I can make him some bluegill for dinner since he loves it...of course, he'll want bread too. I am just glad I still have him to have a sleepover with.:)
