The fireplace in the family room is done.
Built a mantle last winter.
Trimmed it all out an made a walnut piece to hang the rifle on. Looks nice if I do say so myself.

I've been questioning whether or not to keep it anyway. It's quite a drive from the new house, and I think I only went 2-3 times last year.

Yeah, I thought about joining a couple years ago, but decided on Fall Creek Valley Conservation Club. About the same travel time for me, but cheaper. They don't allow anything but paper targets, though. Pros and cons.

I can shoot most the year at the inlaw's place, which is 5 minutes from the house. I really need to talk them into letting me build a shooting bay.
