    So, been lookin at the CZs quite a bit. I think for the most part, I would only use it for the range and maybe some USPSA shooting, possible IDPA. I can't see a reason to go DA/SA over just SA if I'm not going to carry it. Is there any reason I should consider the DA/SA that I might be overlooking? That new orange gun looks really good, I do not however need anything like that, nor do I need to spend that kind of money on it.

    Also, how easy is it to add/ replace a barrel on them (i.e. a threaded barrel)?

    You would be very limited to which division you could shoot in USPSA or IDPA with SAO.
    In USPSA, you'd be competing against purpose-built race guns.

    Threaded barrel availability depends on the model.

    I installed barrels in My Phantom and P-09. Or was it the P-07. 1 had a barrel in it from the factory (the Duty if memory serves)and I put barrels in the other 2.
    Minimal fit up required.
