    Hi Sunshine

Still working with the three 1903's I bought last week.

Following a bunch of stuff on GB including one of my Holy Grails, the elusive 45 ACP broomhandle.

    Hi KJQ

The 45 ACPs are rare and usually expensive, GB has a few going all at once right now so I'm hoping to pick one off for less than the usual arm and leg.

Brown truck came today with new sizers so I'm working on getting the 405 to shoot 350 grain flat nose cast bullets.

I always try to bring something interesting along for people to shoot. Gives folks a chance to try something that's old but new to them.

Bumping for those who missed this earlier. :)

Gimpy returned last night! She was in the back yard for about an hour. I think hubby scared her off when he went out around 8 to make sure the cats' woodstove was set for the night. I need to go put out more corn so she has something to eat if she comes back tonight.

She has been missing that leg since 2004. She was an adult when we first saw her back then and the leg was dangling and ready to drop off at that point. I guess that makes her at least 13 years old. She has had twins or triplets every year since then. I hadn't seen her since May and she just showed up again a few days ago. I was sure she had died because I usually see her more in the winter.

She actually gets around quite well even without that leg. Watching her jump a fence is interesting. She is also way more cautious than the other deer around here.
