Yeah, it just makes no sense to me. In the caliber vs. capacity it is the least of both. Not sure I really understand that.I saw a Colt 1911 in 9 mm... I still can't get used to the idea of them in anything other than .45 and .38 super...
Like the guys that say they switched to the 9mm for the extra capacity but then tell you they carry a Shield/G43...Yeah, it just makes no sense to me. In the caliber vs. capacity it is the least of both. Not sure I really understand that.
Morning, red. Having one for range fun is one thing. Having one for carry is what I'm talking about. Everyone can make their own choices, I just don't understand it.I have a 1911 in 9mm. My reasoning was this, I carry a Sig 226 9mm, I shoot a ton of 9mm. Why not have a different gun for range fun that uses the same ammo?
I also bought one in 45, because 1911=45.
Like I said, to each his own. Everyone gets to choose for themselves, isn't my money.Morning BA
I carry mine sometimes. I think people that but them just for carry use the same reasoning. Already have a 9mm. Or they like a 1911 but don't like the recoil of the 45
You certainly stuck with the high capacity option :-)I have a 1911 in 9mm. My reasoning was this, I carry a Sig 226 9mm, I shoot a ton of 9mm. Why not have a different gun for range fun that uses the same ammo?
