Skeaky is the one that sleeps by me every night and purrs to me. I know how you feel, DB. I often wonder what I will do when she isn't there anymore. It's like a security blanket. Lilly is on the other side and is a lot younger so I guess I should have her for a long time yet.

I'm still laughing over how she chased the deer off tonight. She was so proud of herself. I opened the door and she came prancing in to tell us all about how she scared off those big brown things. Of course, they just came right back into the yard after she was inside. That was when Gimpy made her way to the corn pile. I'm still so happy to have seen her again. I hope she is okay though. She stumbled and fell to her knee a few times as she was leaving the yard and I haven't seen her do that before.
