I was discussing things car related with a very smart man last winter.
The topic was cold weather starts on new cars.
Remember when you got in the car and pumped the throttle to achieve ignition/lift off.
This is a similar thing just automated. It is not spoken of much outside of the mechanical circles.

The batteries are good. Just have to load the mission data and let the gyros spin up. Oh, wait, you meant the car.
