It's just easier to buy ammo by the case at this point. I just can't afford to pick up any new calibers. I try to keep it to 5.56, 230gr .45, 9mm in 115 and 147gr.

I was always amused when people wanted to see the inside of the old MAC suppressors, claiming that they could make one rather than pay me the $200 I charged. Cheap as stuff was back then I still get a laugh out of those memories.

My dad told my mom he was going to Indy for the gun show this weekend. She asked how he was getting there, and he said he was going to drive. He hasn't driven anything since his stroke in July. He forgot he hasn't driven.

After more discussion, it was agreed that he could not go to the gun show because he wouldn't be able to do all the walking even if he could find someone to take him. The drive down would have done him in for sure.
