I should go back to sleep but don't know if I can. Have to work 7a-7p tomorrow but am planning on being out late tonight because a some friends of the BF are in a band and are playing at a local bar.

Not a big fan of all the logos. I could pass on it pretty easily.

Yeah that is a killer for me as well but a stainless TRP.............................

I will hold off for the full rail bull barrel.

I also have to much going on around here to spend that level right now.

CHRandy is in full swing on some remodel work.

Hard wood floors are going in next.

    Spouse is so very happy....:)

Can he drywall too? I'm gonna need a drywall guy. I can hang it, but I don't even want to try taping and mudding it. It would look like :poop: when I got done.

She needed something to lift her spirits. I'm glad to hear it.

It has been a positive. All the work needed to be done but I have put in some really nice extras like the hardwood.
The Carpets were due up anyway as was the kitchen floor. I bought the flooring and CHRandy will be putting it down for us.
I would do this myself but as we all know......:fogey:..........and I am flat out on projects.

I think it's better for all concerned that you farmed the work out. If you were doing it your stress would bleed over to her.

Interesting. I'll keep that in mind. I still have to tear out the old paneling and see what's behind it first. I just don't have the motivation to mess with it currently.

Let him do it. It will be done and over with. He did the exterior of my old garage now family room in 2 days.
Stripped off the old 5" lap siding and fiber board. OSB up, new windows framed in and Tyvac wrap in place.
It got to cold to do the siding but the room is tight now.

I just don't want to pay for it. Hell, I don't even want to pay for the materials to replace it, but that is a must. This house will be sold eventually and I am upgrading things a little at a time. This is next on the list.

This is a great little house. I like it for now, but eventually I want something with a bit of property away from so many people. I don't need a lot, but a few acres would be nice. I bought this house cheap and owe just a little more on it than I do my bike. I'll make a decent profit when we finally sell as long as I put some money in it and do the upgrades.
