I am so blessed with the staff I had working tonight. Most of the closing stuff was done when I got there.

The rest was quick and painless. Lights are out, doors are locked and Ricker's is officially closed.

I came home with Chili, donuts, cards and gifts from my crew.

I'm so glad that went so smoothly. I'm sure they made sure it was all done so they could get home to their families too.

It freaking poured here and my new roof has no leaks.....

No leaks is a good thing for sure!

we roped the lot off. Had a guy out there with a vest on... you know, the ones that you can see from a mile away. He almost got ran over because the ***** was mad we were closed.

All the parking lot lights were off, canopy lights were off, entrances roped off and they still tried coming in.

Well heck Mrs.G....they are self important and will not be denied.

The boy was working a semi roll over last week on a curve on the interstate and the exit was blocked with State troopers cars and tape. Lights flashing and all the cool LEO stuff to let everyone know they had to divert. At least 3 cars tried to drive around the barriers and 4 others ran into each other.
The general populace is really dumbing down.
