    just busy as hell

I don't think I ever sat down for more than 5 minutes. Hit my walking goal for the day in just under half the shift.

Ran the video on the dude who tried to steal from me last night, he got a bag of candy and a different sandwich that I didn't see him pocket. Got it on video though. That just really pisses me off

    I hate a thief

you and me both Greg. He got maybe $6 worth of stuff. But I point blank asked him if there was anything else he was trying to steal from me. If I see that dude again I will have him trespassed from the property. I won't put up with that ****

Those little thefts add up. Costs everyone in the long run.

When we had our shop, we had very little loss, but I do recall one day when some things went missing and I knew who did it. They had a child with them and they let the kid run wild. I had to keep redirecting him back to his parents as he was getting into everything. I figure out later that they had him doing that on purpose so I would be distracted and they could pocket stuff.

yep, had I not caught him with the one item, it would of been $11-$12. but you do that x's 3 or 4 people a day, which sometimes happens. It does add up. we're one of the highest theft stores that Ricker's owns. We're doing all we can do keep a close eye on it.
