Now if I had been in an accident and posted about it on Facebook without calling, my mother would have gone thermonuclear.

It's started to be a real issue.

He was driving down 38th street and someone turned into him, hitting his drivers side. His car was drivable but suffered significant damage. The other drivers vehicle was not drivable. Of course the other driver had expired plates and a suspended license and left before the police arrived. My father did get his information though. I would bet money that the other driver does not have valid insurance.

My dad isn't much of a talker so I was barely able to get the info from him that I did. I don't know nationality/ethnicity.

We see it all the time here at work when we have to send bills to repair guardrail damage. So many uninsured or state minimum coverage folks out there. It is infuriating.
