I went to Sprint yesterday to get the hubby a new phone for Christmas. I have always gone in and done this without him. Well Sprint no longer lets non account holders do anything without the account holder. That's fair.
So I took him back tonight and he got his new phone. I let him have that, not wrapped, not under the tree. He also wanted a new speaker for work that syncs with his phone. So they had a sale on those, I got him one and the boy one. The boy thinks his is for me.
Hubby wanted to take his to work tonight. It's wrapped and under the tree.

I won tonight

plus, if I get the registration in on time, we got a free Samsung 32" LED tv from Samsung for leasing a Samsung phone

I let the daughter do my shopping. She is a pro. She knows the spouses taste and what she wants. The wrapping is done and I am as surprised as The spouse is when she opens her stuff. It is a family thing.

Whatever works for you. I try to buy the stuff she might want but that she would never get for herself. I am generally pretty good at the gift thing for the spouse. Sometimes I'm even brave and do clothes. Got everything wrapped yesterday while she was at the grocery store.
