    well my peace and quite is over and it will never be again as they opened I69 section 4 last night........1/2 mile from me.........now i get to watch and hear semi's scream down the highway from my front porch!!!!....this was one of the quitests places in the state!!!....not any more!!!

    I live less than a 1/2 mile from I-74......Really don't hear much and you get used to it quickly......
    But then again, I grew living on a farm 1/4 mile from busy RR tracks....

    When we moved into our house, which just on the edge of the city limits, I had a farm field behind the house and a woods across the street. Now I have storage building across the street and condos behind me. Life can suck at times.

    One of the proposed legs in Morgan county would be less than a mile from the house we just bought. Another would go right through my inlaw's house and divide their farm in half. :xmad:

    Our HR Dept handles all of the screening. When it comes time to get me involved, it's whittled down to 2 to 3 people.:yesway:
    Lucky for me the dweebs in HR are in a different state. So most times, the resume is sent to me first. I will meet them and ask 8 questions provided by HR. Then I give my recommendation and send it up to the next level.
