i am the rock collector. The wife thinks I'm crazy. Got some big ones today. Was primarily helping a friend gather some.

Those granite erratics around Greenfield in the farm fields are attractive landscape rocks. Wife loves those.

I love making hubby bring home big rocks. I think he has quit at this point, but have a bunch of them all over the yard and have flowers planted around most of them. There are still quite a few hiding under the huge forsythia bush that we may need to dig out with the tractor. I moved all the ones I could budge by hand and drug them around with the hand truck a couple of years ago. The ones that are left at too big to even move enough to get the hand truck under them.

Or I get yelled at if he sees me trying. :lmfao:

Hey Act! Did you get anything done on your lights?

    :( No :(

I slept too much this last week.
I did get a piece of conduit fixed on the outside of the house, that goes to my sewage pump. Took a lot longer than I expected.
I cut down 2 big tree limbs and got one of them dragged out into the woods.

My next step was going to be to clean out the car area of the garage so I could move my Escape and the trailer into the garage.

THEN I was going to get the lights.

I have to reevaluate and decide when I'm going to get all that done.

but I do want the Christmas lights up before I go back to work next week.

It sounds like you make lists like ours...too many tasks that are impossible to finish in the time we think it will take to do it.

Put up lights when I lived in the burbs, now I don't think the wildlife care one way or the other.

Coming home from work, I always liked seeing the lights. Now I always get home before dark and the nearest neighbor ia a long distance away. I have to go closer to town to see lights.
