The AXIS is an entry level rifle. I have owned 2 of them and had no issues they are just clunky in the action. Cheaply made.
Price reflects this.

If it is what you can afford it will be OK. Not sure how they range out.

I had a savage 110fp bull barrel. I liked it. I didn't have anywhere to stretch its legs
