    I am still leaking oil pretty bad, I am about ready to pay a garage to do it as long as it's taking my "friend" to do it at a discount rate.

    any idea where its leaking from?

    valve cover gasket. And from what I am told, it is not easy to get to on the Saturn

    I was told to just tighten the bolts on the valve cover, hubby says, no, have to take to much off to get to it. If we're going that far, we are replacing.

    I'd ask gman, he has his hands full and I don't want to take advantage of his generosity to much. S's friend who work at Napa in Rochester is going to do it for ,me

    Nothing on a saturn is easy to work on. Our boy had one for a few years. Talk about a money pit... Sheesh.

    I have been very lucky "knock on wood" that the 2 I have had have been great vehicles. Very little other than routine maintenance on both, until we got to the issue.
