I was pretty much immortal until I hit my late 40's and even then I only slowed down when I was into my 50's.

Paying for that crap now though.

I think it was the 5 years riding rough stock in the PRCA that got me...jumping out of perfectly good airplanes probably didn't help much either

Racing dirt bikes in "TT" events back in the dual rear shock tube frame days. 2 1/2"s of shock travel will end your lower spine after a while.
Oh, and I started on BSA lightnings. Talk about a monster to throw around in the woods.

Damn I miss those days.

back in the day I rode a hardtail...those will take the starch right out of you on a long roadtrip

I love that race. Just love it. Those guys have balls of steel.

When the wife and I both rode we wanted to ship one of the Harleys to England and ferry over to the Isle of Mann and spend 2 days there.
Never happened but it was on the bucket list.

The sensation of speed is greater as you fly by the houses etc. Open tracks do not replicate this.
