    I've got some of that my brother made. Too sweet. His apple and peach were much better.


    I like the peach better than the apple but have both of those on hand. I don't remember the cherry being sweet, but maybe I don't add as much sugar or maybe they used sweet cherries instead of tart? The recipe I use doesn't use much sugar and it is tart cherries and tart cherry juice and then the everclear after that has been cooked and cooled. I have some cherry bounce that is pretty darn good too...not sweet at all. Tart cherries, a bit of sugar, brandy and rum as I recall.

    He added too much sugar or something. It's good if you mix with ginger ale.

    The cat was just at the door crying. No rain yet but maybe she knows it is coming and didn't want to risk being locked out two nights in a row.

    Booze is hidden for now...and I am going to call it a night since the cat is in early and had me up till midnight last night before I gave up and locked her out to play with her little mousie friend.
