    Took doctor 2 days to get Lyrica approved for me by insurance company. They finally agreed but only for 1 year then be reevaluated. Expensive...something like $6 or $7 per pill and insurance covers 80%. How were the side affects for you ? Took me a while to adjust...at first knocked me out a couple hours after taking and slept about 16 hrs a day for a while. Not too bad after adjusting but the list of potentials is a mile long.

    I have had no side effects on Lyrica. Been on it for a month now and the "angry nerve" that it was supposed to treat is better. Still far from cured, but better.

    And, Yes Snap. Lyrica is related to Gabapentin. Latest & greatest incarnation of it...If your allergic to Gabapentin, you couldn't take Lyrica.
