    I know they will. they are just so used to me doing everything, not sure they know how to do it themselves.

    Last night is a prime example.

    I had done the dishes and left the water because hubby took his dinner to the basement. he came up and I asked him to wash his plate off and throw it in the dishwasher. He did, but left the fork and glass in the water.
    I guess he did exactly what I asked of him. :facepalm:

    Like I said BA, I enabled him. I was a stay home Mom and I did everything from mowing, shoveling snow to all the housework. When I did work when I first moved in, he helped, then I quit work and did it all.
    Now that I am back to work, he isn't used to having to do for himself.
