    What kind of trouble are you having?


    The lease explicitly states that we are NOT allowed yo do maintenance including changing the air filter. When they were out last week for an inspection they said they changed it. I just went to look and it's several years old (its dated). I'll admit I should have been checking all along... guess I shouldnt take them at their word but come on. Just tell me...I don't mind buying them and changing them.

    I agree SAM. I'd have happily been changing them all along (and using much nicer filters), but they were supposedly doing it

    I'd just change it out myself. Screw em, what they gonna do to ya???
    We had somewhat the same problem when we first got marred. What you do is send them a letter stating that if it isn't changed within a few days your going to call out a furnace and air conditioning man to change it for ya. Then make sure you add that you would sending them the bill. I promise you they will have someone there in hours!!

    Oh its already changed now...did it a couple hours ago. Just pissed they've been lying about changing it all along.
