Had a good afternoon. Took 2 new shooters, Wife's son & his GF, to the range. Started them out with .22 and 3 hours later had them hitting my 8x8 steel at 100 meters with iron sights. Not every shot, but at least 50% of the shots.
Edit, the 100 meter shooting was my iron sight AR 5.56

My shipmates Phil, in the pic, had never fired an AR.
By the time I left, he had shot ARS in .308, .223, and .22 LR.
