I think there are a few lighthouses even in Indiana.

Um, Indiana has Lake Michigan. The great Lakes has a lot of shipping. And a lot of sinkings, more than the Bermuda triangle.
And this lighthouse in the pic, was NOT near water.

I think there are a few lighthouses even in Indiana.

Iowa has some on the Mississippi, understandable.
Storm Lake Iowa is almost in Nebraska.
Their "Lake" is a puddle that they are dredging, because it's only 5 foot deep.

Ah that's interesting then.

I read some stuff about lighthouses in the US a while back.
I think there is something called "faux lightouse", where some people just have a house with a fake light on the roof.

You can swim across their Lake. But they have a safety officer patrol on a sedgeway.
Most water many of them have seen.
